The Blastcool Extremis iXP1 is the world’s first outdoor refrigerator engineered for seamless integration into the finest outdoor kitchens.

Every detail has been purpose-designed to ensure compatibility with a wide range of outdoor kitchen styles and layouts. Its heavy-duty articulated hinges prevent door from striking adjacent cabinetry, whilst the precision 3D adjustment system allows for the secure fitting of custom décor panels. The iXP1 is supplied complete with accessories which include, a set of fastening brackets, an optional kick plate front grille insert and a lock-pin to limit the door opening angle to 90° if required.

Designed for Australia

Commercial grade refrigeration ensures that the iXP1 can chill drinks down to 1°C in conditions up to 43°C and yet also withstand temperatures as cold as -25°C. Blastcool has the experience in desert heat, tropical humidity, coastal salt spray, as well as harsh winters.

Rated for the Australian Great Outdoors

The iXP1 has been independently safety tested for outdoor use to level IP24. It is safe for use in angled rain and splashing water.

Corrosion Resistant

The exterior of the iXP1 is constructed using AISI 316 marine-grade stainless steel. The baseplate and heat exchange components have complex coatings that aid resistance to corrosive attack.

Food Grade Stainless Steel

The interior construction utilises AISI 304 food-grade stainless steel with an attractive mirror finish. This reflects the contents inside and adds a refined design flourish.

Precision Control

Precision electronic temperature control by Danish brand leader Danfoss, with built-in abnormal voltage protection.

3D Adjustment System

The Blastcool 3D adjustment system enables the installer to add a custom décor panel and ensure that it aligns perfectly with the surrounding cabinetry when integrating the iXP1. A panel of up to 20 kg in weight and 19 mm in thickness may be used.

Heavy Duty Hinges

Heavy-duty articulated hinges allow the door to open up to 115° without touching adjoining cabinetry. (Door can be left or right hand hinged).

Hinge Limiter Pin

Restricts door opening from 115° to 90° if required. This is used to prevent door hitting adjacent cabinetry if placed in a corner position.

Self-Closing Door

Soft-close, self-closing door ensures smooth operation and a complete seal.

Waterproof Door Switch

A magnetic door switch for the light ensures no moving parts to fail or gaps for ingress of dirt and water.

Flush LED Interior Light

Flush-mounted interior LED light, controlled automatically by a waterproof, solid-state door switch.

Adjustable Shelves

Fully adjustable shelves with increments every 12 mm to maximise space. Supplied with two heavy-duty, chrome flat shelves, and one wine shelf with adjusters for different sizes of wine and champagne bottles.

Fitting Kit

A fitting kit is supplied including cabinet integration brackets, a lock down plate to prevent tilting and a hinge limiter pin.

Stainless Steel Grille Insert

If your chosen kitchen features a kickplate, the iXP1 is supplied with a separate grille insert. This can be powder coated by the installer if required to match.



 

 

Optional Extras

Adjustable Wine Shelves

Blastcool has developed a unique system for wine storage that makes use of adjustable rubber saddles that slide across the shelf. This allows the same shelf to be used for both champagne and wine bottles. Capacity is optimised by enabling bottles to be “topped and tailed.” The iXP1 comes with 2 flat wire shelves as standard and 1 wine shelf. Extra shelves are available to order.
